Chesterton's _Orthodoxy_http://snipurl.com/3fma the chapter "The Ethics of Elfland" -- your work reminds me of a passage:

"Nursery tales....say that apples were golden only to refresh the forgotten moment when we found that they were green. They make rivers run with wine only to make us remember, for one wild moment, that they run with water."

Also in _The Everlasting Man_ http://snipurl.com/17rf1 Chesterton's famous quote introducing the analogy of the horse: "Things that may well be familiar so long as familiarity breeds affection had much better become unfamiliar when familiarity breeds contempt."

I did some infrared photog as a kid; this brings it all back. Thank you!

Excellent gallery - voted. Top notch nice IR work. I vote for more traditional landscape work from you as well - some of these images would be stunning in natural colour also.
