World War II Memorial

The memorial celebrates a generation of Americans who emerged from the Depression to fight and win the most devastating war in world history. May 29th, 2004 was the official dedication. On the mall were several vehcicles from the war.

Very fitting memorial. Expansive, powerful, and becomming. Too bad it was so late so late in the making.
