Fundación A. Jean Brugger is proud to host the Union Church of Waban, MA on their mission trip to San Juan del Sur February 12-22. Led by David Spertner and Tom Vawter, this group of all ages and energy is focusing on the school "Azul y Blanco", located 10 minutes outside of San Juan del Sur. The school's lead teacher, Lesbia Mena, and her team of teachers, students, and parents have already prepared the site for the upcoming project. The good folks from the Union Church will be helping install whiteboards in three classrooms, connect a hand pump for the well to ensure access to water for the students, build a fence around the property to increase security, repair the bathrooms, paint two classrooms inside and out, as well as do some landscaping at the entrance of the school. We have been planning this project for over 3 months, and are very excited to see it come to fruition. They also served as this months sponsors for the Seniors Program.
