The Children from the communities around Sabalos, Nicaragua on the Rio San Juan were the focus of the combined efforts of San Juan Rio Relief and a team from Project Stretch. The doctors and support staff from Project Stretch were joined by others from San Juan del Sur, the Nicaragua Ministry Of Health and Sabolos Lodge in this effort that provided dental care to about 500 children. San Juan Relief continues to provide support for visiting medical groups, medicines to the local clinics and a new solar power supply to a remote clinic to allow storage of critical medicines.
