Pelican Eyes Piedras y Olas Hotel had its opening December 13, 2003 in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua. Of special note was the performance by artist Norma Helena. Profits from the hotel benefit the Jean Brugger Foundation which provides secondary and college scholarships for the children of San Juan del Sur.
