Rips is a scuba diving instructor. His boat broke down off-shore this evening and he swam to the beach
in his scuba gear. He just happened to surface and walk from the ocean onto the crime scene
moments after Chase Diamond's murder occurred. Rip offers to stay and give a witness statement to the police.
