| March 2013, San Juan del Sur, Rivas, Nicaragua | Fundación A. Jean Brugger delivered school supplies to two rural schools. The first was the Jose de la Cruz Mena School in the community of Las Pampas. The second La Libertad School was located in the community of Libertad. The kids received a backpack filled notebooks, pencils, pens, rulers, crayons, and even flip-flops. The teachers also received packages as well, and a first aid kit for the classroom. This effort was coordinated with the Ministry of Education after elaborating a list of the schools with most needs in San Juan del Sur.
