I traveled to Utah, Colorado, and Wyoming during late Sept. to early Oct. to see autumn colors, wildlife and friends. The colors were not quite peak in CO, but further north in WY, they were. I was able to photograph bear, moose, elk, bison and pronghorn. The weather turned cloudy and rainy towards the end of the trip. It was an opportunity to try out my new Canon 5D, Canon IS 24-105mm L lens, Gitzo tripod and Arca-Swiss ballhead, and with pleasing results. All in all, a wonderful two-week trip, nearly 4,000 miles of driving, beautiful scenery and colors, friendly photographers, and great friends.
