Nice photo. Just writing to alert you that this is not Antirrhinum filipes, which is a vine-like desert species with smaller yellow flowers. This looks more like Antirrhinum coulterianum, which is a known fire-follower and occurs in cismontane (= "ocean side of the mountains") San Diego County.
