This shot was inspired by a program I watched on PBS years ago about a man who took sensitive sound recording instruments into some of the most remote regions on our planet, to see if he
could listen for 24 hours without hearing a single man-made sound. Needless to say, he was unable to find anywhere on earth where human generated sounds didn't pollute the sounds of nature.
