It almost seems like Reddish Egrets were made for photography with their flamboyant hunting methods and their beautiful plumage. This one gave me a wonderful show that went on for more than twenty minutes as it hunted in the shallow waters at Bolivar Flats. It’s always fun to find one that is actively hunting but I have to say it does put a lot of wear on my camera’s shutter.
