This Paltry Tyrannulet may not look like it in this photo but it is a truly tiny bird. They seemed to pop up all over the place during our visit to Costa Rica this month. We would be looking at something then all of a sudden a Paltry Tyrannulet would just be in the area grabbing my attention. That was just fine with me because I find them to be totally cute.
