Chloroceryle inda

The Green-and-rufous Kingfisher was another personal favorite of mine from our recent Costa Rica trip. This one was hanging out in a tree hanging over the river and the light was very low (which is pretty typical for this species in my experience) so photography wasn’t terribly easy. However, this one did hang around long enough that I think everyone managed a reasonably good photo.
