Hi guys, I ran across this looking up stuff for the Black Lions. My Dad (Vernon Driver from Springfield Missouri)was in Vietnam during 1967-68 during the TET Offensive. He was in: 1st Infantry Division C Company 2/28 Black Lions. If anyone has more information or contacts, it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

One day, a buddy and I were walking near the airstrip when we encountered an aviator who must have been new in town. We both saluted and said "Black Lions, Sir!". He returned our salutes, but looked at us suspiciously and said "I don't know what that means, but I guess it's okay".
