DAY 6 (3.5 hours)

Spent most of the day fitting the outer cowl panel. There's a big difference between a quick test fit and getting down to the real thing. It's as good as it's going to get without the door on. It appears that the top hinge pocket has been bent causing a bulge in the sheetmetal, either that or the cowl has a bad shape. I'll know more when the door goes on.

The inner-to-outer cowl panel isn't very close to fitting anything and I had to do some cutting where it meets the sill. It didn't sit flat against the sill so I took a coupe pie cuts to change the angle of the flange. It's better but again hard to tell without the door on.

I started on the inner cowl but the thunderstorms moved in so I quit for the day.
