From 1970 to 1976 I had the good fortune to work in Detroit with some very talanted people, not the least of which were the Alexander Brothers, Mike and Larry, at American Sunroof Corp. I took a lot of photos of the work we did and I've put together this Gallery so I can share the photos and my recollections of that time.

Keep in mind that this was not exactly the most glamorous of time to be building show cars for major automobile manufacturers. This was a time when safety and fuel economy were steering the indusrty. But that doesn't mean there were not opportunities for fine craftsmanship and unique building challenges to be solved.
