Ann! I have been woefully absent in my use of pBase. My apologies for not having been logged in to see your inquiry re Olive-throated vs. Brown-throated Parakeets in the La Milpa area. When I took this photo, our guide told us Brown-throated, but upon further review, it appears that in fact this is an Olive-throated Parakeet. Your guide was correct and I was led astray. No doubt you have already figured it out without my help.
Cheers! Dave Weaver

I have enjoyed your gallery having just returned from Belize last week. Do you know if you would expect olive-throated parakeets in the La Milpa area? Our guide pointed out olive-throated but not the brown and I am wondering if he may have been mistaken. Thanks.
