Having lived in Germania for 10 years I have to say these are truly magnificent pictures. Rich vibrant colors, wonderful composition and beautiful lighting. Also having spent considerable time at Lyman Lake- including ice fishing - you have captured the lake in its many phases. Keep up the "clicking".

I really enjoyed your Potter County pictures. I have fond memories of visiting this area with my family growing up. Prior to the CCC Cabin being relocated to the Museum, it was leased by a group of hunters, including my Dad, Harold. We had many adventures visiting God's County and staying at that very cabin!

Awesomely breathtaking photos. I am just sad that now that beautiful Potter county -- God's country -- will be littered with 450 ft industrial wind turbines. Industrial wind is not the solution to our energy problems. Wind needs conventional sources as backup and does not add more than a piddle of electricity, if at all. And the wind industry itself says they need 60 acres per megawatt. This amounts to enegy sprawl. To ruin our healing landscapes for a "feel-good, do-nothing measure" is a travesty.

Hi Curt: Love your shots of Potter County. My family lived on Bark Shanty Road in Austin, just north of the dam, then we moved to Westfield in Tioga County, ending up in Sweden Valley, just a short distance from the 9th tee box on the golf course. Moved to NJ in 1958. I haven't been back since 1969, but your photos make me want to bring my wife to Potter in the near future. She has never been to "God's Country." Many thanks. My family has a cabin in Potter County and for the last 45 years, I've visited now and then. I logged onto the internet to see if I could find any information about Lyman Lake and to my surprise, stumbled upon your pictures. Great pictures!
