Spring Photography Weekend in the PA Wilds! May 18-20
Spring Photography Weekend in the PA Wilds!
Combine a weekend getaway in the PA Wilds and a photography workshop with instructor Curt Weinhold, a Pennsylvania Wilds Juried Artisan with work published in state and national publications (view his photographs at www.pbase.com/cwphoto). This intensive weekend will be spent learning to create photographs suitable for
framing using your own camera! Friday evening is “meet and greet” time in cozy Susquehannock Lodge (www.susquehannock-lodge.com), your home away from home for the weekend.
Saturday will be spent with some technical talk describing the best methods to extract maximum quality from your camera. Then, armed with a sack lunch, it’s outside for a lengthy field trip for scenes, streams, and close-ups of wildflowers, which should be near peak. Special attention will be given to composition and lighting. Then it’s back to the lodge to enjoy a sumptious meal prepared by innkeepers Ed and Carol. The
evening will be entertaining as we critique the day’s pictures and learn from successes and mistakes. After a peaceful night’s sleep and breakfast, Sunday morning is for review and an optional short field trip before departing for home.
