A second eagle is on the eggs & can almost be seen here under the head of this eagle.
I was on the ground approx. 300 yds. distant w/ 500mm (equiv 750mm on DSLR) + the image was extensively cropped.
Just illustrates that a Nikkor 500f4P is quite sharp.
