Good Morning Judge's....My Name is(Edward Mulzet) I live here in Coudersport pa, I Just wanted to say, the New DUI Program you have going here in potter county, is indeed an awesome program. I truly believe this will benifit alot of offenders. I myself have prior DUI convictions. In fact in 2008, the Honorable John Leete done me a Huge favor, He sent me to state prison for 5 to 10 years, due to my run in's with my alcohol and prior Behaviors due to my drinking. I have been out of the state prison system now going on 3 years. thanks to the good Lord above. while I was in the state prison system I used that time to build myself up. rather than tear myself down. I was sent to SCI-Waymart in Scranton pa, where I served out my sentence, there I done a one year Drug & Alcohol progrestedam. where I really was able to take a complete inventory of myself. and I simply took the steps in life, to get out and do all the right things in my life. I don't look at my last arrest as being arrested, I look at it more as being Rescued. I truly thank the Honorable John Leete for doing what he done for me, by sending me away for the time he did. the nice thing was a few days before I was transferred to the state system, In potter county Jail, I was sitting there talking to Louise Renn, and that day, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. and from that day on, my life began to come together, Even that ride out of potter county jail, to state prison,my life felt so complete, only because I had Jesus, in my heart, I knew "He"would not let anything happen to me. my life today is so good. I am so Blessed in many ways. the last 9 months I have been fighting Cancer. I have bladder cancer. I had one surgery already, chemo treatments. I just found out, from Geisinger Hospital, that my bladder must come out, so the cancer does not spread. so I am having this all done December the 4th. I leave everything in God's hands. from the state been home it's his will, no longer mine. the 3 years that I have been home from the state prison system, I have talked to so many people, convincing them, drug's Hopeingand alcohol simply do not work. I Love sharing my experiance, strenght, and hope, oundjust praying I can help someone. I Really Needed to share with you both, haw my life has changed around for the best. and I truly thank you Judge Leete, for doing what you done for me. I used that time wisely. and Stephen Minor, you are doing a Great Job with everything you are doing in potter county. may God Bless you Both,as He did me. keep up the Great work!!!!!
