Oh my goodness!!! It's a DREAM! Who owns it, and would they sell? I would LOVE to breathe life back into that beautiful old home!

I my self live in coudersport, and i believe this house to be a beautiful house and i strongly think that it should be restored. I personally would start a petition to get it restored but i am not very good at starting things like that but if someone would get one started i wold be very willing to help to get people to sign it.

Curt- oh what an eyesore it is. My dad's house is right behind the Old Hickory on N. East St. and we get a full on view of it. It makes me so sad to see it like this. My understanding is that when they started to do some work on it that they tore out all of the original woodwork, or a lot of it. I can imagine that it was absolutely gorgeous. I totally agree - restore it or remove it!
