California high and low points. plus Bryce NP

Mt Whitney summit of 14,495' highest point in lower 48. Death Valley National Park-below sea level.

So my two sons asked the old man to climb Whitney in a day. The "day" went from 4AM 'til 7:30PM. We summited at 12:30 and lingered only 30 minutes.
