The reason I chose to crop so tightly was that the dancers were performing in a smallish clearing in the middle of their village - and I really didn't want to get any of the gaudy tourists encroaching on my subject matter.

A very impressive gallery. I like the tight cropping and loavely saturated colors. I'm jealous - that's exactly the sort of thing I'd love to shoot.
