Spawning Grounds

Goldstream Park

Difficult to shoot early in the morning, as well the water moves very very quickly.

Fun to try but fell short of my expectation.

USED A POLARIZATION FILTER - THIS TO REDUCE THE GLARE FROM GOLDSTREAM

Wow! Stunningly clear, despite the water refraction and the way the fish blends in with the river bottom. Excellently done.

You did very well, especially considering a shutter speed of 1/60 on moving subjects! It's interesting to note how the salmon so nicely blend into their rocky stream bottom environment! Lovely movement of both fish and water, with good exposure too!
Sincerely,
Sandy

How did you manage this at such an early hour? ISO doesn't show but I imagine you had it up to 3200? You did well.
