Our friend Jose Gonzalez left us on the evening of October 7, 2006. He had just prior been in the company of many long-time friends, also members of the Delta Region SCCA sports car club of New Orleans, who were attending an auto race near Donaldsonville, Louisiana.

I've posted these few archival photos to share some of those happier moments, but, also included the last photo ever taken of Jose as he drove his Viper one last time. I only wish that I would have the opportunity to take many, many more photos of my friend.

In addition, I have added photos from the party held in Jose's honor on October 26, 2006. A sizable gathering included his friends from his childhood, golfing, business and the racing community. We all shared rememberances of our friend, who we dearly miss.

Our deepest sympathies go out to Jose's family, extended family and friends.
