I took it again and kept the cookie shadow out of the picture. I might try again if my dad will let me use his polarizer. - Jessica

What a most wonderful clever idea! Certainly an idea you can have more fun with. If you can get the shadows on the cookie, which is a learning experience all on it's own, might need a polarizer filter so if the cookie is set below the sheet of glass you'll see the cookie and no reflections. Or, you can tweak the perspective just a wee bit more, so the cookie looks like it's in front of the chip and they're like running away. Either way, you and Dad should be proud :)
I'll be watching this page.

p.s. Good luck. Siblings love to eat cookies hehe. They dont last long here. Hopefully they left more for you. Now we can play with our food.

Thanks for the comments. My dad is going to help me fix the cookie. If my brother didn't eat all the cookies already.

Good enough to eat! :) The chips and their shadows look really good. It's harder than it looks to get the shadows just right. (I imitated this original also for this challenge.) Rod is right (although rude) that the cookie looks out of focus or perhaps pasted in. Perhaps it's because there's no shadow under it and the edges are so sharp. I think I'd like the simpleness of just the chips dancing. This is a good entry. ~Lydia

its a very effective technique. I will be adding "sheet of plastic" to my shopping list (and maybe a packet of cookies!). Good choice of subject to use it on - hope you had fun with the props once the shoot was over!...claire

Did you by any chance bake these delicious looking cookies?
The chips look as if they're dancing!
