Evening in New York

Rules broken:
Proper Exposure
No blurring or fuzziness around objects
Details in highlights and Shadows
Rule of thirds...everything converges toward that central point between the buildings
Keep the camera from shaking

The "jiggles" suggest the liveliness of the city, and the colorful lights against the dark buildings serve to catch the viewer's attention.

Thanks, Lonnit. You've done a great job on this Challenge. Don't know where you've found all the time!

You are using the rule of thirds, but you've broken the others. At first I didn't care for the image, but within moments it started growing on me - it looks like there are thousands of natives, carrying torches down the street in protest! It seems there is hope for their success, as they are not trapped - there is an outlet at the end. Really makes for quite a nice metaphor. All the brightness and red below contrasts nicely with the buildings. Qualified. ~ Lonnit
