Rule: proper exposure. Justification: under exposed to show the late day sun and emphasize the impending darkness in the tree silouettes and the intricate details of the tree branches.

Its funny. I have a lot of nice silhouettes but I never thought of them as underexposed which they were on purpose. They seem so natural and a part of the natural process of viewing nature that I didn't think I was breaking a rule. Maybe I should go back and take a look. John
