Don't shoot into the sun and watch that you have the right white balance.

I think shooting into the sun creates the silhouettes and light on the water and the interesting rays around the sun.

I deliberately changed the colour temperature in raw converter knowing that it would give me a cool but vivid blue and create a different mood and interest to the scene.
