23-DEC-2007 Rod

P wiv Arrow

Welly Point Brissie Oz

Rule.....Do not tilt a picy for no good reason.
I chose to smithereeno this rule as I saw a leaning sign post that would have made an OK picy.
I then saw an opportunity to break this rule by tilting the camera to straighten the signpost which tilted the horizon. Thereby creating some tension for the brain to ponder........Erm, yes that's it:-)

That's incredible Kelly I haven't used that program before & downloaded it. & you were in my neighbourhood with the coordinates you used. You seem quite close to the Canadian border but using Google Earth a few hundred miles seems just up the road:-)
Peace & happiness to you & your family too Kelly:-)

Okay - I think I'm in the neighborhood of Cleveland and Wellington: (27°30'43.52"S, 153°15'23.66"E) or did I misunderstand?

With Google Earth (a free program BTW), you can actually type in your address; e.g., 17 Union Street, Ellsworth, Maine, and it will fly you to nearly the correct place. Imagery near our place isn't so good - nowhere near as excellent as your area, but you can still get a sense of where these glad tidings of Christmas emanate. Peace to you and your family. - Kelly

Thanks Kelly:-) This was taken at Wellington Point, a bay side suburb about 25 Klm east from Brisbane city. It's part of Moreton Bay, the closest to us here at Alexandra Hills where we live is Wellington point & Cleveland.

Congratulations Rod! Is this anywhere near Brisbane? I've been looking on Google Earth, but haven't found it yet. - Kelly

Excellently broken Rod! Extra points: Did you push the sign any? - Kelly

Thanks John, Tom & Mikey:-) Mind you the tension waiting for Lonnits certification is a bit more tension than I need in me life:-)

Good luck Rod with that explination. (could be a sinking ship)

Now why didn't I think of this. Surely I can find some wrecked piece of guard rail here in Texas during the holiday. Another good one Rod. John

Thanks Tommy:-)

This is almost disorienting, but the sign is so well articulated and the horizon line so vague that it becomes secondary... except that it does keep pulling.. down... Well done tension. -tv
