Perfect now....at least for me! :-) CJ

Well seeing is believing as I found the original shot worked just fine but now seeing the crop it does give it a real edge. Sometimes it's just the topic that determines the crop as the original may work better for a different topic. This looks awesome mate.

Thanks Mikey, I'm working to find some patterns in the crowds instead of coveting your Colorado clouds. -tv

Smashing, Tommy!!! This is an amazing photo, as it now stands (walks?). I wish I could take pix like this, but I almost never see that many human legs at one time, let alone in a crosswalk ":^D Cheers, -mikey

OK Carole and Mikey. I agree that the curb can go, almost, and I got rid of the plastic bag. This does look cleaner, tighter. -tv

another great pic. It looks as if the pedestrians were marching in rhythm.

Thks Jano. I thought only the guys would notice the 'point'... and the ankle and the calf... still not too old to notice. -tv

All three excellent entries. You did well in this challenge. I love the lady's heel on the left :) Great "point" of view. jano

I don't wanna win.. just hear comments... even Rod's. Maybe I'll send these to pending.. otherwise (just maybe) too much work. This challenge is great for the discussion and honest criticism. Thanks Mikey. -tv

Boy, you are popping those B&Ws in there!! This one is awesome; a winner, no doubt. I'm with CJ on the curb, surreal or not, it would have more "pattern appeal" without the curb, IMhO. The only problem with putting three terrific images in one Challenge is that it'll spread out the votes. But then again, if you win, its a lot more work ":^D Cheers, -mikey

Carole, I actually tried cutting out the curb but the result struck me as too surreal with all the amputated limbs hanging from the frame. It also left an annoying bit of pavement in the upper right. So I reverted to reality. The curb keeps things well grounded without losing the patterns, I think. -tv

Very nice. Great timing to catch them in midstep. -- Bruce

Another good one Tom! I think a little crop at the top down to the first white line would really look nice - what do you think? The legs even form patterns - I like it! CJ

Super.
Rod 03-Oct-2007 07:14
Every leg is in just the right place for me, this is wot I call real photography that even the pros have trouble getting. You have a great eye Tommy as all the elements in the three shots look just right.
Great entries mate.
