Good thing I waited and didn't crop.
My first time I pp this, I was going to crop off the bottom then thought I liked that part so that is why I included the roof and part of the side.
Thanks Jano and Rod. :)

Good points Jano but I think the counterpoints of the tiles & siding makes this work so well for this topic & a shot of just the roof tiles would be just too girly:-)

Good shot Sueanne - I may have forgone the wood at the bottom and concentrated on the wide angle of the slates. This really has interesting texture and an array of colors which could really pop with the slightest of ps done. Again, the wood below distracts my eye. This may also work with some nice dusk lighting :) jano

Thanks Tv, Britt, James and Brent.....

and James, I can't crop off the top of the left, cause that is the top of the roof. :)

Very very nice Sueanne, the rough texture of the slate against the smooth boarding works great. The only problem I'm finding is my eye keeps getting drawn to the dark slates in the top left corner

I didn't see it earlier either, but that's some nice texture now Sueanne. Well done.

Perfectly balanced. I didn't see it before either but I like it now. -COAmature

This looks very good sueanne (I didn't see it before) and the wood and slate provide excellent and contrasting patterns with lots of various shades of gray blue conjuring up the impression of sky and clouds through mottled glass instead of slate. -tv

Thanks ....
I redid the contrast and saturation. :)

Great geometric shapes here Sue Anne! A little more contrast and maybe even saturation would help bring out the colors a little more, but a nice shot as is too! CJ
