Thanks all for your comments :-) The thing on the dog's back is some kind of modified tennis ball. I'm not sure what kind of training was going on, but it did catch some onlookers.

This is a terrific dog shot Brent - I love the balancing act and the look on his face while wondering how to get that thing off his back! Very cute! ;-) CJ

Excellent look to this, one of the best dog shots I've seen. The pose looks sort of classic. Wot is the thing on it's back it's looking at? In one way it adds a lot of interest to the shot with the dog looking at it but for a print I think I would clone it out. Well done Brent.

Also my fave of the three. But you can't help not love the other two :)
"Conan at the Beach" fits the challenge a bit better for me, with the play with water and splash.

Thanks Doug and Barry. This was quite the talented dog we saw at the dog park. Magnuson dog park in Seattle is like Disneyworld for dogs. It's a real blast for dogs and their owners.

Nice shot Brent! The light makes his(her?) coat really beautiful and great facial expression as well.

Funny. He has this look that says "How do I get this off of me without falling in?" -COAmature
