Thanks Carole, Cat, & Barry. Doug too for the revisit. Rod, you may be right in the sense that along the way I crossed the line of "manipulation" that transformed the image from even more abstract washed out colors into bright, impressionistic extremes. The original shown almost no red-oranges and dull greens, and now they do look somewhat overly "whanged", almost sunny as happened shortly after this shot. So for now, I'll settle for this impressionistic look. Thanks anyway. -tv

I like the abstract nature of this - looks like trees in the background and a bit of sky....or something! ;-) CJ

Without seeing the original again to compare I think you may have whanged too much Tommy as the abstract nature I first saw seems to have gone.
Yes Doug Whang can be used as a noun or anything it's almost as good as Bugger:-)

Nice eye! and great abstract. -Cat

Cool "whanged up" abstract TV!

I underestimated the power of the whang. I like it much better now. Hmmm, maybe whang could also be a noun. We'll have to see what Rod says. -COAmature

Thanks Aam & Doug. Couldn't cut the drop count but put myself back in 'Vivid' and whanged up the bar. The result is to bring out a lot more streaking detail on the window pain. This is fun. (Is whang a verb?) -tv

It's a bit bright for me but it's not without interest. Maybe about half as many drops would allow the viewer to understand what he/she is looking at. -COAmature

How about darkening it then using curves. It will give it a good contrast, and color saturation to boot.

Aam, it's already jacked up quite a bit. I'll see if more makes it work better. Thanks.
Tom, the problem is that by the time the precipitation collects on my workplace window, it always looks like mud. So we dignify it by calling it 'weather'. -tv

Looks like a painting.
I would increase the brightness and saturation a bit, though. Don't know how that will come out but it's worth a try.

Nice bright abstract with good tones. Funny how people on the East Coast call rain "weather".
