I really would like to see this in a much tighter crop. As it is, the blackness overwhelms the tiny little flower - poor thing. I think the ideal crop would be at a point where there is a visual balance between the two. Very good subject, focus and exposure. -tvsometime

Thanks again for your comments everyone. Really appreciate it.
I tried to re-edit the photo for a tighter crop but didnt like it as much. Will have another try. I feel the best way would've been to post a larger version so more detail is visible.

The color and clarity is wonderful. Wish I could see a little more clarity in the flower petals,....or perhaps a closer crop. Anyway, this just "pops" with color and the rain drops really set this off. Exquisite! jano

This one's really beautiful. Lovely saturated colors and great contrast that really enhances the flower.

Nice one Techo! I like the water tension around the petals as well as the raindrops on the background. I think it's hard to get a lot of detail in those bright white flowers and maybe that makes it look a little soft around the edges. Lovely anyway! CJ

Thanks Paul. I'll give the sharpness tweaks another go.

Troy, not sure what you mean by natural but I like the look. This was taken outside shortly after the big rainstorm ended and it was still slightly drizzling. I liked how the drops looked on the black surface. I tweaked the color balance to get the blueish theme.

Hmmm. Does it look natural?

I like this but i would love to see it really sharp. I was a touch dissapointed that is has a bit of softness when i opened the thumbnail. I find anything that uses water tension needs as much sharpness as possible. Good one regardless.

Beautiful Techo. And you know I appreciate that black frame/trim. -COAmature

Thanks Brent :)

I just updated the shot with a slight color correction to the petals.

Very nicely done Techo. Although I like the first flower image you submitted, this one suggests "framed" to me a little more. Great work.

Thanks aam :)

I re-uploaded one with less sharpening. I usually find it tricky when resizing photos with lots of detail and having to sharpen them just right. This shot wasn't cropped.

I knew it was yours from the thumb.

Great as usual.
