thanks Armin, Rod & CJ :-)
to CJ - you're probably thinking of Indoor Landscapes chalenge - someone beat me to the punch and posted a similar shot there, so I didn't enter this one back then. but it came in handy for this sequence. definitely worth a visit if in London. - b.c.

wonderful perspective!

The lighting works really well here & makes this work. Well done b.c. :-)

Beautiful series b.c.. I think I voted for this one already once! I'll have to make a point of visiting this place my next trip to London. CJ

thanks David, aam1234 and Cat. yes, this really is a beautiful space. I did try to tone down some of the highlights using PS particularly the upper left corner stonework, but otherwise the shadow areas of the stone/steelwork are pretty much as-shot. In spite of the strong directional light from the left, there's just so much other indirect light in this hall that I guess the contrast and DR seemed to work out ok.

This one is beautiful and very detailed. The capture of light as well as the illumination is also very nice. Given the dark stone and steel work, I would think the contract on this one would be much higher than this. You've achived a great dynamic range here. -Cat

Been to NHM few times but never noticed the majesty of it. You certainly showed that b.c.

Excellent symmetry on this shot. The muted colours work well too.
