Thanks Rod, I can tell I'll be having some fun with the new macro lens. Overall I probably might have wanted a 70-200 lens instead of this fixed 100mm, but I bought this one instead for documenting work that I do in my dental lab. So it's my longest lens for now and I'm happy I can still use it for many things besides macro work. I re-worked this image with darker leaves to accentuate the flame effect I am striving for, but pee-base isn't letting me upload it for now- hopefully before the voting starts.

Yes great colouring in the flowers but the background leaves are too bright & distracting for me.
They tell me the 100mm macro lens is a ripper............Don't tell me....The girlfriend again:-)
