Billy - yes, it is more pleasing now, and I'd say perfect! I'd sure be proud if this image were mine :) jano

Awesome shot. I like it as is.

I was wondering if we could see a little bit more of the stem of the glass whether that would make for a better composition - just a centimeter or so. It feels kind of cut off to me now.

I love this with the droplets cleaned up. Beautfully striking image. :)

Looks terrific now! :-) CJ

An excellent graphic shot & the pattern of the blinds going through the glass looks terrific. Well done spider:-)
ctfchallenge09-Mar-2006 03:59
The droplets probably don't bug me as much as they do others, but I think I agree that it would be more striking if the glass were totally clear. Besides, it's a myth that the 'legs' of a wine has anything to do with quality, it speaks more to alcohol content :-P

Anyway, if we're talking about cleaning up the wine glass I would not suggest lipstick marks. I just don't usually find them attractive.

All in all I think I really like this picture, the blinds causing patterns on the glass....it's very nice.

nice patterns and excellent exposure work. -Abstract

I'd wipe off the water drops and add a red lipsticked lip imprint.

Would be perfect without the water droplets on the glass... I am wondering why you decided to photograph them there - just curious? You might have reasons I'm not understanding. Very nice comp and lighting - couldn't be better executed imo. jano

Agree with CJ. Great concept and exposure control.

Agree with what CJ said. Those drops in the glass are not necessary imo.

Nice shot billly! I'm not sure I like the dribbles down the glass but I sure like the idea, the color, composition, lighting and the blinds as background providing the strong horizontal lines! Good job! :-) CJ
