June 2004 Abstract

Leaves *

I love to photograph simple objects in natural environment (not studio set-up) in an abstract form...which ofcourse is the reason for my sign-in name.

No fancy PS. ony conversion to b&w and then inverse color.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Abs I've seen picys that have been through layers, masks composites &cloning etc & still resemble a photograph. That's why I was laughing (not at you) as you have changed it into a non photo with just one filter:-) I really don't need to read words posted under picys as the picy tells me everything I need for evaluating a picy mate.

Thank you for your comments. Mary Anne, Shu...the outlines of some leaves in this glowing/radiating white background is the most favorite part of the image for me. hence it is the way it is now. i appreciate your suggestions though.
Rod, i had a good laugh too after reading your comment.
try to understand the words (or ask for clarification)..."no fancy ps", does not mean "no ps". it means "no complicated ps" (like layers, masks, composites, cloning etc). -Abstract

I had to laugh when I read ""No fancy PS. only conversion to b&w and then inverse color."" This shot is all PS & no Photograph Abs.

This has a nice pattern when the thumbnail is opened, Abstract. I think that some of the leaves should be darkened in that they appear faded. Since I love abstracts, I prefer this in B&W. If the origianl image was mostly green tones it probably would not be very interesting. This printed on white linen would be great, provided certain areas are darkened. Shu

I like the composition, Abs, but it's just too overexposed for my taste. I think I like the b & w, but I wonder if it would look better in color.
