A puddle Yvonne, you call it a puddle? It's a bleeding billabong init:-) A sort of permanent puddle:-)

Rod, I like this image especially the "puddle". You have captured a rainy moment in time. Yvonne

Great composition and sky. I feel that the vegetation is a tad too dark though

Geez I don't know where that S came from, it should read Tree Trunk.
Shu if you can round me up one vote for this shot I will stick it down the bottom with the also rans:-)

Rod, I know my vision is bad, but where are the tree trunks??? If they were removed, then this image should appear at the bottom of the list!! You guys think you can get away with murder with me, huh? Shu

Rod, you do landscapes so well!
Paul 11-Jun-2005 06:06
That's nice Rod, very nice, makes me want to come to Queensland. For the day at least.
Rod 11-Jun-2005 03:23
:-) Thanks Pedro.

Great Rod, I like your landscapes... which can be read as I like them better as your street shots ;-)

Rod, don't tell me you don't know Photoshop, I for one could never have achieved such a dramatic change just from "sharpening"....

Thanks all, I've resharpened & I think it looks a bit better:-)

This is too busy to my eyes and the trunks of the trees look like you had the shakes but the upper branches look quite sharp and i feel as if i want to rub my eyes. Perhaps it's me, it is 5 in the morning.

I knew this was you! I guess that means it's right on the theme. I like those trunks - do they ever get completely barren? The leaves are kind of brownish, so they just confuse the lines a little.
I know, I know "Rod, bring the clouds lower" Rod, make the leaves fall off the trees" What next, locusts?

This is great! I like the sepia affect in the image. Maybe a very slight contrast bump on the tree trunks? Shu

Tried it in B&W. I prefer the B&W version, but that's a personal preference thing.
aam1234 10-Jun-2005 11:01
Good candidate for B&W, give it a shot Rod. Or even sepia.
