Facade*

NYC, N.Y.

It took me a while to come to a conclusion about what might be most typical for my photography.
Possibly pictures of urban architecture with no live beings to be seen?
Then, this image of a Manhatten Facade could be a «sig pic» of mine.

(I'm glad to have the oportunity to enter this photo again:
I wonder—in all the modesty that is possibly also a «sig» of mine—
why it was so completely neglected in the past «reflections» challenge...)

Thanks a lot, Alexeig, for your explanation/suggestion.That's the kind of comment I find especially useful.
I'll be away for a few days, but next week I'll «check it out» in PS. — db.

In fact, it is a very Manhattan picture, highrises with perpendicular geometry. * As to why it was neglected I can tell you that it has quite a few merits and it was for a while on my voting list. Why it ended up being replaced? Because it lacks impact due to the low contrast and washed color. I think that the contrast is essentual in the pictures with strong geometry, otherwise it just gets lost. I believe that after some appropriate PS work this picture can shine
