Ultimo, an inner suburb of Sydney, is becoming revitalised as more and more people move into the inner city area. Old warehouses and factories are being knocked down to make way for apartment blocks.
This building was not visible from the street before demolition work began, but still graffiti artists took the time and trouble to leave their handiwork behind. Sometimes, when the local council considers the old building to be of heritage value, the developer is made to keep the facade and other features and incorporate them into the apartment block.
