amaryllis*

This photo displays two favorites: springtime sunlight backlighting flower petals. This amaryllis has lived with me for years and is my first bloom of the new year. Levels were adjusted and one pixel of unsharp mask applied to recover some of the detail in the petals. The detail only comes through on original.

I really like the way you have the light coming through the back of the petals to show the vein detail. It shows how delicate these flowers are. (*) I would have like to see this cropped a little higher at the top as to not cut off the top of the petals.
