Streptococcal off center of the uvula

Arizona, USA

I was unfortunate to come down with strep throat last week. I was on a mixture of antibiotics and pain killers when I decided to take a couple pictures of my throat. Hope no one loses their lunch...

Canon PowerShot S50
1/60s f/2.8 at 7.1mm with Flash (I used a small Mag flashlight). full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Every winter without fail I manage to get a strep throat with the usual "delights" it entails. The picture was excellent as it allows me to see properly what actually it is.
It is hard for me to see into my mouth when I am yawning to actually see the infection, so the picture was excellent. It also enabled me to properly see what people see when I yawn during a strep attack.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuch! Nice capture though...was gonna do something similar for 'Love and Hate' with shot of teeth and sweeties :) Tough to keep your mouth wide enough and lit-up enough for a good shot with S50 I know so well done on that front, but, can I close the browser now ? ;)
