Thanks all. Tv, he is looking in. Rod, a severed arm!!! might scare him off. Doug, he is too friendly to give any sense of security. Penny, regarding the camera, have been playing with it the past week, my opinions: - the low light (fast 2.0 lens) works well up to iso800, the fill flash really works well in a party situation. - shoot mainly in manual mode, use the front lens ring for aperture control and the rear ring for shutter. - heavy barrel distortion at the wide angle. - RK

He looks a little sad, but what isn't clear is whether he is looking in or out and where he wants to go. Well, maybe such things can never be clear and maybe the ambivalent pov makes it work. We keep wondering what the dog's expression means. -tv
