The lovely scene certainly sets the mood. Looks to be a beauty of a mom-to-be so I would like to see her featured more. If your making a book for her/them this should be the cover! -Doug

Thanks Penny, Tom and Rod for your comments. I think a little underexposure is needed. This was the first shot of my maternity shoot yesterday. I have just finished the first round in LR, and will turn over to PS tomorrow for minor details. I used the light to my advantage for this shoot and also had the challenge in mind. So I'll be posting again. :) janoj

There's a lovely calmness here - soft and warming.... nicely done, Jano.

Must be a regular Pixelp**per forgetting to sign his (Rod or Brent) comment.
Anyway, trying to catch the glistening light effects in this kind of scene is such a major challenge with the scintillating details lost in the compression that I have given up. Maybe a bit more underexposure would let the light pop or at least sparkle a bit more, but except for the loss of that effect it remains a lovely shot with elements which reach into our souls or at least those surviving part which can still appreciate humanity and the better things of nature. -tv

Really nice picy, well done. I'm finding the background trees a bit jarring against the lovely mood of the lady amongst the flowers. I don't know if it was possible to shoot this against a blank sky or shooting from a higher vantage point so we only see the flowers surrounding the girl. The other thing might be to use telephoto wide open forcing the tree's into becoming a blurred bokeh.
Anyhow the shot is really nice.
