I didn't do any more adjusting - but thanks Shu. Penny Street

I must say I really love this abstract!! Color, line, everything draws the eye! I don't know if you adjusted the image as suggested by the posters, but it now looks perfect to me! shu

I DID shoot this is RAW but it is NEW to me. (he he he)
Thanks for the cautionary word on vibrance. Penny Street

Don't take what I said about the red too strongly Penny- it still looks great :-) I would think if you shot this RAW you would find if you backed off just the red saturation a little it might show a little more surface detail. I think you mentioned on another image that you hadn't increased the saturation much but rather the vibrance. Vibrance better controls saturation for realism but can cook the colors a little too much if you hit it too hard.

Red is hard, Brent and I tried already - maybe I'll get a chance to go back and play with it again though. Thanks for the comment. I won't be surprised if there's a monopoly on such fine looking brass equipment. Penny Street

Nice one Penny- good punchy color. The red maybe seems a tad too saturated. I've noticed a thing like this on a building near work because of the look of personification, I'm going to have to go see if it is from the same factory even.

And to think I almost posted it in Black and White. Oh dear GOD!! Penny Street

Funny one Penny! It does seem like someone with a handlebar moustache but he also has green dreadlocks - quite the contrast! :-D Great juxtaposition of the tiny hose with the big outlets and good color combo too. CJ

Where was this for the irony challenge? That little garden hose strung over the massive fire hose outlet. -Doug

thanks for the comment.
tv - get to work!
Charlie - I work with an office full of engineers as well but I found this funny for a different reason - kind of like a face with a very droopy moustache.

The hose is really interesting. The lopsided look to go with the centred connectors - Debi

Agree with Tommy the green hose really makes this more special. Nicely seen megirl.

I like the colors. But I find this to be really funny, because it is about fire hose connections with garden hoses. Perhaps it is just "engineer funny," but I did get a laugh out of it.

Aha!! Now I get it... "middle". I'll go work on it. Good catch here with the green hose to add some interest. -tv
