This really works for me Penny as far as the topic goes. Although the print on the left seems more in focus, it really is just background and adds the interest factor. Great image. jano

I love ambiguity and this works wonderfully for fashion week in NYC. Outstanding take on the topic where the focused vs oof areas create a narrative of wannabees.. or something. -tv

Thanks Doug and dt!
Lydia - I looked twice after Doug's comment and said to myself that I think the cars add another perspective about the street that would be lost to a lot of blank space if they weren't there. Anyway, thanks for your reassurance.
I worked hard on this one.

I love the in focus advertising juxtaposed to the OOF live people -dtallakson

This is cool. I think the car reflection adds to the information we get about the scene. ~Lydia

I like the definitive distinction of in and out of focus created by the walls edge. Too bad about the car reflections. -Doug

I like the b&w better too Penny as the color was too distracting and drew our attention away from the subjects. This works very well for the topic as the in-focus part is interesting but the OOF woman naturally draws us to her by the contrast of her lighter face against the darker background. CJ

thanks Troy, Debi, and Rod. And believe me, If I'm making the right choices, it's only an accident (trial and error, mostly). Penny Street
