Thanks Brent, DT, and Aam. We had one day of sun and now back to rain, but since we really need it, we can't complain too much. Tom, I thought you and a few others might be familiar with Robert Frost but since my title was so lame, I didn't really think anyone would get the connection! :-D CJ

Really good. Well done, CJ.

We have some great poets down here & I've read most of them Tommy. All their work is displayed in all public toilets:-)

I can relate, Carole. You've probably gotten more rain than me, though. There might be another storm on Sunday! Anyway, this shot captured the mood of the weather very nicely. -dtallakson

Just want you to know Carole that I got the title since Frost is a reknowned American poet, but I didn't want to talk about it and show up Rod.. him being from, well, down there in the bush. -tv

Very clever take on the topic Carole. Like the diagonal wiper and the red looks great and gets just enough attention. Looks like Seattle weather :-)

Rod, I've been "busy"! :-D The long title is a play on Robert Frost's poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" - I know, pretty lame! :-D CJ

Thanks all! The small aperture is due to changing from a macro lens, stuffing the camera into my bag and forgetting to check the settings when I came back home and stopped to pick up the mail. So, part of this is OOF because of the rain and part by the close focusing on the wiper blade which was only about 10-12 inches in front of the lens. CJ

Yes, This is indeed very good! Great composition and colors.

I like the idea of using the rain to create the OOF. Well done Carole. -Doug

Nice twist on the topic Carole as we are left with the ambiguity of how much of the oof is caused by the rain and how much by selective focus esp with such a small aperture. Good comp and colors. -tv

We take our time finding a picy but when you can see, there are picys everywhere even though I have trouble finding them these days. This very ordinary view is transformed into a terrific picy by being able to see. Even the wiper is placed to enhance the picy & the red mail box's bring the picy to life. I don't think we needed a girly twenty line title but the picy stands on its own. Well done megirl this works great mate.
